Description
“Occasional” is the name of this project due to its occasional illustrations. The year 2016 was the year of the Monkey in Chinese astrology, and the rooster for the year 2017. So I illustrated a rooster and monkey as the element of these years.
Process
The agility and rebel characteristics of the monkey are enough to convince me illustrating a monkey dangling happily from a tree stem! I made decision to make it a female with make up, ready for the new year.
I illustrated the rooster based on the confidence, intelligence, and earnest personalities as it is defined in Chinese zodiac; a rooster portrait looking serious and thoughtful. Both illustrations are done in Adobe Illustrator.
