Description
Nikan is an Iranian Exchange office based in Leeds, England. I was asked to design a picto-logo, type-logo, and business card for this organization. Due to the general patrons of the Nikan office are Iranian, my client wished the whole project to be done in Persian. He also asked me to design the business card as if it was a credit card, and look invaluable.
Process
I came up with the idea of two arrows cycling around the Earth to show the concept of exchanging the world’s currencies. For the type-logo, I did typography for “Nikan Exchange” in Persian. The business card looks like a golden credit card, and is one sided as the client asked for. The Persian typography is done in Adobe Illustrator, and the picto-logo is made partially in Illustrator and the final touches in Photoshop. The combination of gold, black, and cream is the selected colour scheme for this project.
