Description
“Animalster” is a wildlife magazine to show and introduce beasts’ lives and habitants world-widely. This Magazine is supposed to be issued per month and tell interesting facts about animals lives, including food, habitat, and their babies. This special issue is dedicated to Australian animals, specifically their babies. The target audience are the individuals between 18 and 40.
Process
In “Animalster project” I opted for vector drawing instead of placing pictures to show the animals. So I illustrated the Kangaroo, Koala, and Emu respectively for the cover and article pages. I searched for their qualifications before beginning my design due to applying them to my work. I demonstrated the tiny baby Kangaroo in the pouch on my cover page and used the triangles to form the whole body and faces. By portraying the face of the baby I was trying to draw the attentions to the baby and that the concept of “small is beautiful” would exemplify truly.
